"BOOM! Having adapted to the sun and worked out how to get the bus Sifnos Crisis Theatre hasfully launched into action. The drama kicked offBoom and Bang, an intense and energetic performance from Portuguese performersAna Vitorino, Carlos Costa and Pedro Carreira. The play is a fringe adaptation of David Hare’sThe Power of Yes (2009)– a work commissioned for the National Theatre in London, which seeks to understand how the meltdown occurred and ask why no-one sought to prevent it.

The pace of the show is fast and there are a lot of hard facts and questions, but for those who are happy to test their concentration span I can’t envisage a better way to get to grips with the problems in just over an hour. Full commendations to the actors, who, astonishingly, first started performing the work in English a week ago."
